the one with all the steamboat

Had steamboat at east coast but not at Tian Tian..cuz according to reviews from fellow bloggers.. realise that it is not worth it. So went down to east coast park.

price wise is relatively cheap only lar, around 12.90. but the selection of dishes is limited la. like really limited. but aiya, car parked already and we really dunno where else to go too. so we sat there for likealmost 2hours, getting burnt by the oil bubbles!!!! ergh!

and the worst thing was when the rain came pouring down..wah..that one is the worst man. the waiters all rushing to move the tables and chairs indoors. somehow the soup taste much nicer after the rain. ew. yang sya prob the rain makes it tastier. haha!

there was this ah tiong that was rushign her way through the queue to get food. and the funniest thing happened when her bill came and she made a HUGE fuss out of it. she dont wanna pay the service charge and GST. lol how ah tiong is that? very!!!!! i wa slike stifling my giggle cuz i cant believ she actually refused to pay it. where got such people one? should just pay and go home and scold to the wall la!!! haiyo. i mena this is Singapore, everywhere has service charges if not minimally GST one what!

Monday blues...actually went school super early to study! then chewy joined me after hydrology. haha! he just reminds me of someone..and well..in some way ba. i never talked about him anymore le. becasue there aint much to say anyway. yang also never ask..becuz i still dunno what went haywire. prob becuz of that..prob not.

was stuck in the jam on my way to tuition ad i actually dozed off. Serious!!! what a traffic hazrd i am. haha!!!

momo night out

exams are around the corner and well, tests are beginning to pile up. but of cuz, when all your other friends are but budened with tests and exams, its really hard for you to study without distractions.

Guess what girls? went for manicure and pedicure. now they were both done on seperate occasions, one day difference, so i didnt make them in the same shade. now what i love most is my hands!! yup..now that i have gotten a hot pink phone i should get a hot pink shade for my fingers eh? haha!





Dont they look the same? alright maybe the lighting wasnt good, but u should see the real glossy deal! haha

The manicurist commented that my nails are long! haha then while she was painstakingly tryin to paint, the other ppl in the spa was like walking round saying,,wow your nails so long. lol

Sigh if only they know how much trouble i have to go to just put my contacts! trying to protect my nails and at the same time to protect the lenses.

Friday evening..went to try out the so called famous Ma La Steamboat. erghh! taste like crap. they have liek this mutton smell and i was like..just cooking the tofu and eating tofu. and more tofu. lolx. of cuz, prawns too! Not my cuppa tea. actually yang wanted to try out too, but i guess better not since it stinks!! think i wanna go Tian Tian!


Last night, the initial plan was to hang out with the girls and some ncc ppl from tk..but meiting last min cancel out. to think it was work!! it wasnt!! hahaha she kept askin me to go..cuz wb will be there right? haha and now..!!! hhaha but well, jk then asked me if i wanna go out. with the other guys. and i was lke..if lihui they all agreed to go for the initial movie..den who will the guys that is going momo?

there is shin, kh, minghao and lester..and of cuz the sun lo! haha it was really weird cuz i have never ever gone out late with them before, with the exception of the sun la. he is liek the only ncc guy that ive been out chilling with. So i didnt really wanna go...cuz i dont wanna be the only girl! and for gooodness ake, i haven even tok to minghao ever before! haha

after churc, vic suggest goign movie with qj they all..but shin in the end called and say they will be picking me up. aiyar, just go lar. haven seen the sun for a loong time anyway. haha!

Its really different hanging out with them, cuz your mindsets about them changes. No joke. i used to think that kh and mh are these really innocent guys. Hahaha yeah, as if. lolx. but what shock me the most is the sun lo, tsk tsk. Meiting!!!!! u will be stunned if you know what he can say man Sighhh....

think i wanna go try tian tian tonight!!! then ill see whether all ah tiong places sucks. maybe thye do. then ill be sitting there eatign tofu. haha

the one with all the confusion

Finally tech com is over! all dressed up for oral presentation today. Usually i would have set aside all the clothes that i am going to wear, but i didnt really had the time to prepare

tue night actually wanted to have gelare since its half price day, but by the time yang came over to my place it was already damm late le. what waste! its been ages since i last had waffles with tiramisu ice cream. yummers!!! we ended up eating Bar Chor Mee. haha! and there we were chatting..and i cant help but ponder bout what he said. he might be right. something wrong must have occured. maybe i was too sensitive, maybe i was not. but i just cant help but feel a tug and that tells me something is not very right.

Oral presentation today was not too bad. i actually felt confident and at ease. probably cuz i recieved the results for my in class assignment. an A! yeahh!! for someone like me who dont get A often, or rather, once in a cheesy blue moon, it is a big deal. Although tech com is not impt but it might pull my pathetic grades up. hahaha!

KY say we should take a group picture! haha now i have mazda teo's pic in my phone! lolx but lke i say, cute has no use- resposibility counts. these few weeks..doing project was terribe man! haha...

all the hydrogen powered wehicles crap can throw out of window le!!!! *grins*

so after tech com, the guys asked whether to have dinner together. and since i have nothing on, i decided to go along! haha its quite nice cuz we neer really talked except hi and bye during tech com class. and there we are, 5 of us sitting round eating and chatting. haha fun! since we all presented, we probably dont have to return to tech com class anymore. But it was really a good chance to talk and all. hahaha

thursday tomorrow le..and well, my mum was asking me to check into what happen. and i was really surprised, cuz...she never strike me as one that will push me to doing something so unlike me. ill see how it goes.

Happy holidays people!

i actually set out to study on this day, but somehow i just didnt feel like studying. And so i didnt. woke up early and just surfed my way through the internet, flopped on bed to read finish my one of the mnay books. haha..

Mum then asked if i wanna accompany her to Popular bookstore. and so i did. walked all the way to parkway, and there, popular has a facelift! look a tad bit smaller. so spent an hr or so, standing infront of the humour section reading 'baby blues' comics. i really need a smile outta my face.

after which i heard my youngest bro is needed to help out in church. there is this special mass. when i walked in, i relaise that it was a mass for the people in Marriage encounter.

Marriage Encounter is this weekend retreat held for couples by couples. You will be along with other married couples and begin to reflect and communicate with your spouse. Without the interruption of kids or work etc.

I was sittign there thinking that when i get married, i would probably wanna join this retreat. my parents said they actually make you write love notes to each other wvery morning. haha! so sweet aint it? at today's mass, they gave out certificates for the couples and the oldest one was married for 50 years! impressive eh?

i used to find it hard to imagine getting all lovey dovey at such an old age. but after what i saw today, it just feels possible. maybe the right one havent appeared, maybe it had, or maybe i just passed him by..but like what she says, out of so mnay people in the world, what is arranged for you by God will be yours, for life.

my dad's 2 yr plan is up today. and what does this means?

So so so cute can!

I was at karaoke with Nona den we were like really noticing tank's mtv. And i was like..who the hell is that guy? So so cute! Not Tank, some guy. yeah and after a few days of searching, i realise that he is part of a new boy abnd! probably not new, but i aint young anymore so i dont relaly care about boy bands. Sighh.

Anyway i found out the name of the band cuz they have a duet with hebe from SHE.

yay! finally got the opportunity to drive around alone...haha makes so much diff! could actually go out of school to have lunch and shop around! hee! den actually went all the way to clementi to pick q.r up and had dinner near my tutee's place. haha first time been to clementi...hmm..not too bad. altho almost had a near collision..but i guess thank God that nothing happen. managed to swerve in time.

had a night mare the night before...with regards to me driving. imagine how scared i was todya when i woke up. was literally in cold sweat!

nich. sms me..saying that jean is celebrating her bday this weekend! arhh since im the only girl left, i would help them buy pressies! i was think of buying accesories, pouch, a top and throw into a box. haha.. that will give her a nice surprise ma. its really quite nice, cuz i never expect him to be discussing it with me. tot vix the pig will do it. haha but still, since he did den who am i to complain? haha..

q.r say i distracting! argh. ok maybe he meant it as a joke, or so he says after a super lag period. but honestly, i think i really am. maybe i shld stick to studying with fellow slackers. then realise q.r mind is not with me when i am around. what is the use of going out with an empty shell? yeah maybe his mind is full of physics, chemistry and oh, more chemistry.

just quite sian diao with everything. yvonne ask me what can i be so confused about? i dunno, u know. its more like...i am not very good with judgement and presumptions. its like one day you wake up with this notion...then what happens...tells you otherwise.

i told yang about all and he got more confused. hahaha! did i tell u guys about the ice cream supper i had? ergh! 2 tiny meeny mo scoops that cost like 10 over bucks. lol but he treat larh...so..i shldnt complain eh! lolx! mmm...lurves the coffee flavour. never really tried the others~ but i know that is my fave. haha

talked to him about the whole thing. cuz i dun get it. i dont understand it. and i am pretty sick of it. he dosent understand it either. haha. that proves it. just going to forget about it. its pretty much translucent. cuz now you see it, now you dont. and most of the time, i dont.

bbq nite out

today was GY's birthday! haha..and i was invited to his BBQ which was at east coast.. actually i was quite paiseh to attend in the first place. because i dont relaly know him that well. he is victors fren actually, but i guess the ktv seesions, movies and clubbing meet ups pay off! hahaha... yeah got to knwo that bunch of friends more and more.

So his family, work friends and primary school friends were all there. actually GY is victor's primary sch friend lar..and so the link goes on. We had a lightblue cheena cake with flowers on top. Hahah and he was so excited with cutting the cake. Haha seldom see a guy like this. But it really shows how impt this day is for him. His last birthday before enlisting Haha..

And so we were sittiing around..as they drink their vodka with HL milk( dont ask why that concoction), merlot and dunno wad else...hahah just chatting about. wanted to go ktv after the nnq, but Teo Heng fully book so we kinda scrapped the idea. Haha..

As usual..they have to liek make fun with every single time Nich talks to me. Haha! they almost made us walk home which is impossible cuz victor is the one that is supposed to send me home! hhah end up still they take cab den drop me offf lah!

Hmm was just thinking- what am i going to do this year for my birthday? Apart from last year, i always had everyone celebrating. to date, i can say last year was the suckiest. and no, i will never forget, yet i will not wanna remmber. haha!

Just so tired...just feeling really really weird. I dont even know what i am thinking is right anymore. or what i presume is right. Hahah i guess not ba. i suck at understanding what people think!

Mid Autumm

The history or legend behind Mid Autumm is just simply a celebration of the change in seasons, the mooncakes, the beautiful woman and her rabbit on the moon.

In singapore, either we take a walk at chinatown or go off to chinese garden to look at the lanterns! I never really bothered with the celebratios cuz it dosent really mean much and i hated mooncakes so. yeah...

last year, NTU has its own celebration. Although Salsa arrnaged to meet up and stuff, i guess i wasnt close enough to go with them. Huiling and Roshan actually said wante dto accompany me..but when wereached boonlay, they called and said they didnt wanna go liao. Haha i still remmber i was eating long john silver..with my trusty clam chowder. and so we went without huiling and co lo...it was not really that fun. just walking about..didnt even bother playing the fun fair games. haha too mnay people already. took 179...walk all the way from north spine to Hall 4. damm far.. Haha but.. let him able to see the life i lead every single day. the bus i take. the route i walked...etc. Hmm...that was last year.

This year, the festival falls on a friday. Despite the screwed up day, everything was ok! Imagien bringing out a camera that dosent work, a lantern with 2 candles and no lighter, a train that moves off AS SOON AS you step in front of the door, the screwed up probability paper and the flat hair. Everythign is ok. Haha still had long john silver and clam chowder though. Hmmm i guess i was just damm shacked up la.

1st day back at school!

Hydrology quiz first thing in the moring. haha didnt study finish so i was like..not very interested in the hustle around me. haha! then when i saw the paper, i thought i could do. until i realise i got one question wrong. Sigh! cu i skip that particular lecture! arghh!!!! anyway there was one qtn that i could do, apparently was a gift away. so while th eothers slg their way through the other qtns, i was slowly drawing my water cycle. along ith flowers, trees and grass. Master piece! haha HQ say maybe the elcturer will give me extra marks for effort! *grins*

accompanied nona to SAO to collect CEE club mails. hmm as we were taking that horribly looong path, we did talk abit. and when i told her what has been going through my mind- she told me something probably worth listening to. I mean, you can only do so mch. and whatever you did still brings lots of uncertainty, then i guess that means, there is no way you could have achieved it right. i tried. and i really did try. and i thought it was like...the max i could do le. hahah yeah meiting is probably laughing and saying - what a dork dawn has become. haha yeah~ maybe. of cuz things are different le ba, things can never go back to what they used to be. i know that. and so, the same type of words i say, the same line i may repeat...just dont have that kind of effect anymore! haha...

today i fially saw who that alex from HQ's tech comm class is..and wow wow wow. he is an absolute dish! haha! stunned me. i never seen him around de leh! or did i? i dunno. they have too many guys on the rank, i cant remmber their names!!! haha

saw mr. french today! haha ML thinks he is stresse dout cuz he has like otns of white hair. and ooh, i realise when we were handlign in the papers, he actually wrote lots of stuff around his name. Duh! and i thought my flowers were bad enough. hahah...

i cant wait for this week to be over!!!! =) then i can kick back and relax abit. haha!!

finally can eat popeye soon..haven tried before. alright to me, i heard its just like kfc. no? haha also dunno wanna go not. hahaha!

haha sometimes i think its really hard to judge a person. Its like no matter how well you know him, there always bound to be disappointment. Or he might just do something that jeers at you saying "haha u dork, kana fooled."
I hated that kinda feeling. And so i always prayed, that i am being led into something that is true and honest.

Had mooncake galore just now. wah know something people? u hate mooncakes. lol never in my life have i tried. i look at the lotus paste- ew ew ew!

But someone bought mooncakes frm goodwood park hotel- durian puree mooncake! yummy. beats those from Shangri-La, crystal jade etc. haha i look at the table, all the high class mooncakes. lol around 50bucks for 4 pieces! and no one eats them. i sit around and drink chinese tea until drunk. haha! like its possible. nahh...

New blog skin

Sometimes i wonder, if only things can shed as easy as changing things around me. Haha no that there are tons to chnage but well..i just wanted to try something new. still revolves aroudn butterflies though.

Phew~ i am really glad school is starting already. I have been driven nuts by everything that is going around me. No kidding. haha!

I told meiting about the news. and apparently, its considered good news rite? hmm i dont really expect it to come true, cuz i learn much and that not gettign hopes high up is one of them. The arrival might be good, adding positive vibes to the present situation, but i am nervous. what should i say? How should i act? hahaha still far away lar, shall not go think about it so much.

actually wanted to meet von and kev up toniight for late night ktv session..but i was kinda sian also, so didnt go. Haha..dun realli have a knack for singing these few days. Haha i dunno why. maybe i lost the drive to do so. maybe i feel that...it dosent do me much good. haha! same songs repeating itself. Boo.

for Tech com, i still have to complete a couple of surveys. 13 of them to be exact. kinda tempted to do them on my own. hahah!! fake 'em! haha..but isnce tmr got gathering might as well bring it for them to finish it for me!

*yummers. mooncake gathering. hope they prep swensens mooncake! i am like yearning and craving for it. haha i remmber the times where we will keep talking about wanting to buy swensens mooncake, but end up not buying. cuz we just keep postponing it until the festival is over. hahaha~

wednesday is chemistry, ahhh that one. i kinda half done with the preparation liao! chemistry no longer scare me liao. hahaha. at least, at tutorial 3. lolx! then still have tech com quiz. pre given question, gosh wonder if i have the time to go do up a rough copy of the answer. whats an interpretation of findings anyway?!!!

friday is statistics. darn i haven even found the notes for it yet. hahah!!

my student is having her PSLEs for next week! Arghhh....hope she does well! must pray for her le. she dont seem to be interested in it at all. make me flare up and i hate flaring up in front of students. =/ dawn is just in really bad mood this few days.

cuz she make stupid move and end up feeling wanting to box herself. argh! thou shall not make or say or ask stupid things anymore.
