relief teaching...

U know ho wi have always wanted to be either (a) a housewife or (b) a teacher. Not really much of an engineer cuz this means i probably have to wear pants.

Of cuz, today was my first day as a stint as a relief teacher. 2 classes stright. wow. its tough. No kidding. i mena i love preparing notes and slides and all that, but teachin gi shell. First of all, class management is like, killing me. I prefer an itnerative class ratehr than a class iwth know it all.

There i was teachign about electrons, some smart aleck voiced out her comment sabout how recent discovery foudn otu that electrons dont move in orbitals.

I am like - whatever. i am given what i am to teach u.

arghh! i prefer my first class. despite atrocious comments made by those boys, its still bit funny least to say.

Yesterday was HQ bday! so fun! was afraid ill laugh so much till i have no voice. But luckily, i gobbled some pipagao b4 i go to bed.

MARCHE buffet tomor morning!! sho happy. got salmon, prawns and calarmari! *yummers*

Burying the hatchet?

yesterday i was just chatting and i realise there is alot of people that i still remmber...what hey did, but not their names.

It aint nothing huge or gratifying, just that my tutee was filling me into all the going on of a typical Primary 6's life. and so...i was just brought back to my p6 days and how fun it was. All the crushing and dislikeing, cliques forming..." dont friend u!" Aww man, its kinda dumb to have like a leader of the gang and everyoen has to listen to her. Haha. all the alliances etc. fun but super tiring. lolx.

And so today, Ms dawn is super free after watching the 2nd episode of Beauty and the geek at 1030 in the morn - believe it or not, i do set my hp alarm to wake up on time - anyway i went on friendster( the super ppl stalker) and went to browse ppl that is supposedly in my batch. Haha and i saw some one i know!!!!

when i was in primary 2 or 3, when photocopying machine is not that common, i asked him if he could help me photocopy. And it was like 1 bloody piece of paper and he demanded 5cents from me saying his mother ask him to. LoL.x at that point, i hated him cuz i didnt know that asking ppl to print things must pay back de. (innocent dawnnn) And so i went home and make alot of noise, and my mother shushed me and say" since ppl wan 5cents, just give him lo". Arh, but my impression of him is like - cheapo can!!! But apparently,someone has turned into quite a hunk. hahahah!!!

Few weeks back, i went with nich to his friend's bday party. 21st party- which u probably invite anyone and everyone you know. So since nich is his JC friends, we went and i saw ML! what a coincidence! lol. And ah, the funniest thing was..i saw a primary sch classmate of mine. An di haven seen him since like...PSLE. no kidding. he was one of the lusted after guys in our school cuz he is so tall and nice and everything. rich by the way. and i saw him!!! he looks no different from primary school. Honestly, dont think he grew much. Till now, he is like a bit taller than me. but in primary sch, he is like a head taller than anyone. Hahaha. the funny days of priamry sch where girls will keep asking me abt him because my reg number is just next to him. Haha.

Arhhh...the many nice things of being young.

the night before the end

tomorrow is microbiology day which equals to "i hate to go school" day.

i have never taken any biology subject ever. and i dont want to take it. but i had to. Cuz why?? cuz i am enrolled into envt thats why!! *Sigh*

tomorrow is my last paper for this semester and it is this subject that i dont like. Ener liked. and never will like. Honestly, i haven studied yet. only still tutorial 5 out of the 12 tutorials. I just dont feel like it. So i went ahead to chnage my blog skin, watch lots of tv and go sleep.

Friday will be celebrating hq's birthday and ooh, must be prep the scrapbook thingy. Haha. Hobby hobby! shld carve a career out of it? Hmmm.

already went for job searches. Have like 2 interviews lined up on friday. Jiayou!!!!! dunno wanna work not. This saturday, i am starting the tuition centre job liao! Pls pray and hope nothing goes wrong. All students will sit down properly, listen to me and keep quiet. Get it over and done with!

i cant wait for tomorrow to be over. Just let me enjoy slacking around. I wanna watch alot of movies and eat alot. ok maybe not the latter.

today is also Ben n Jerrys free cone day. but the queue was horrendous, if my kiasu spirit is alive n kicking, i wouldn have made it in time for tuition.

Meilign they all are shocked to know that i am still having tuition despite being saddled with tons of exams (5papers actually). But hello~ being dawn, i dun study past 7, so might as well make us of the tv watching and prep my tutee for her exams. which is right after my papers. Ho hum. lucky not during my exams or else.....im be damm blardi tired.

printed last min notes from wikipedia (yeah yeah i knwo its not a reliable source) but what the heck, i have no time. tmr is the paper and i haven really started. Sigh, cuz its an elective. 2 papers tmr, and one core is very very important. i am aiming ofr an A- i.e first A ever. so i pray hard that all my hard work is not wasted on this core subject. i realli tried every past yr paper. Of cuz, neglectign the other subjects. Darn, hope its worth it.

went for consultation today and the lecturer say we are stressign him cuz we bombard him ith so many qtns and honestly, he cant answer all of them. he was like
" erhhh, i haven really read the notes"...
"errhhh i think this one dont worry too much le"...
"ehhh yeah hor, u are right, (after being corrected by my fren that he is wrong), but can try and see lar. i not too sure"

so much so for earning so much and telling me all the "erhhs". but he is good guy lar, telling us that in quiz, if we hand in blank paper we also get a B grade. Cool right??

after beign pressured by us, he stop and tell us " can alreay la, i think u girls are ready. dont need ask any more la".

and so being a good girl, i have a puff treat!! *yummers* just love papa puffs. Hahah the choc filling. OoomPhhhh!!!

White sands changed sooo much. Now it has watts in - with it ridiculously priced earrings - but look damm good. So many i wanna buy lo. but if i buy like a few, will easily cost over a hundred. i shall sell all my old earrings maybe. Hmm. o.0

long's bday was on sunday. and well, it wasnt my best day. and of cuz, that date actually give me creeps cu zi know nothign good falls on 15 of April. i was just never really happy. and this deja vu feeling just never goes away. Sigh.

Anyway am lookign orward to this fri cuz it will be dawn's big break! before mugging for the 2 hardest paper i am going to take. =( but still....i cant wait for end of examss! i wanna work! who wanna work with me!?! lolx

i am so crapped. like very. i am not sure how many schools actually carry out safe-asignment, which is to detect plagarism. not that i plagarise (alot), just that i need reference~ and well, i was supposed to submit my biobusiness final assignment by monday. since i wanna get it over and done with, and since i skipped like more than 5 lectures out of the 8 lectures. i didnt really know what to write about. i just know who the speaker was and tried to find out some information from the big daddy web. and taadaa~ i finally finished it - 3 and a half pages in just 1 hr flat. there i go, submitting it.
so i dropped by the submission webpage today and started clicking around this button and there is this 55% thingy next to my submitted file. holey moley. 55% of my report matched with internet sources. and my teacher posted this plagarism whatever crap on the discussion board. (somehting extracted from the sch big book) tell me, am i in deep trouble or am i in deep trouble? dont bother answering. i know your answer.

have u ever coughed so badly till you whole head hurts? i have and still having. everytiem i cough, i feel as if my head is going to snap and drop out with every cough. ew. maybe cuz alex watches too much happy tree friends and all i can imagine is just that.

i mean whats the deal with happy tree friends? what kind of ppl actually creates cartoon that has broken limbs and heads and dug out eyes etc? Despite that, i just bought a new HTF tee shirt. "trust no one" - that cute porcupine. haha!

was watching a walk to remmber last night on tv! Awwwww i lurve shane west can!!! he is sho absolutely fingerlickin' cuuute. *mmmm* anyway, he was liek darn popular at one time..when i was in sec 4 i guess. when wanting n i always chase after those chick flicks. lolx! i didnt get to finish the show, watched till the part wheere Mandy Moore says she has cancer...*awww*. den went out for....steamboat! yes! dawn has no appetite for days but has a craving for steamboat and off she goes! lol.still cant eat rice but discovered that vermicilli and tom yam soup is daa best! Hahah sadly. the steamboat place is moving away. i cant walk over to eat anymore! The last time i went to eat was with...i think its yang. anyway we spent over 60 bucks and didnt finsih at all. the uncle looked at us pitifully cuz he himself knwo we cant finish. we're jsut noobs lar. lol. so last night, i am smart, ordered less den 20 for 2 ppl onli. since i only wan vermicilli and tofu. and tom yum. I aim to get married at 26, isnt this abit earlier than what i planned? haha. mum was thrusting the earphone to me and making me listen to this radio station. and voila~ they were discussing about spotting the Mr.Right - in a religious sense of course. and well, as usual an age old question: how do i spot Mr Right. quite an impossible task people. Mnay a times i have thought that was Mr. Right turned out to be not. And maybe fate plays a part, maybe it just wasnt meant to be. But sometimes, you just wanna knock yourhead on the wall when obvious signs are so bloody obvious.

i remmber asking jin once (alright, many a times) about how our future would be. you know, girls are just horribly soppy, always wanting to have a dreamy wedding etc. And he usually just brushes me off with things like " its still far away". damm, isnt it quite obvious that he wasnt into having a future? Maybe, maybe not. but like he said on the last day, that he was wrong. but too late, i said, too late. And of course, i am pretty happy the way i am. Of cuz, despite the contagious viral flu, i cant help it.

Like things cant be any better

After a long hiatus ( and after being bugged by my tutee) i have decided to drop by with a entry. Not that there is much to blog about - with the usual falling sick, go to school, fall sick again etc...

Ah, i have one more addition to my schedule. and that is i already strated my RCIA journey II! Yup, so now my wednesdays and sundays are occupied, tues and thurs for tuition, i dun seem to have much time for myself. Now that i am sick, with high fever, bad cough and irritating runny nose, these few days have i gotten the chance to really watch tv..non stop. and oh yeah, not to mention that my mum is highly estatic when she realise i totally lost appetite for food. lol! unlike me - yes i know!
Not that i dont wanna eat, nor have i turned aneroxic, its just that i cant seem to taste anything at all. no matter how hungry i am, how loud my growling stomach is - i feel like i am tasting water. No joke. this has got to be the worst or rather one of the worst times i had felt.

Last wednesday was the 2nd session of RCIA and i have 2 new comers and they are from New york! you know, typical big thug! Haha and its real interestign hearing him share on how terrible his neighbourhood was ( or so i realised from all the gangsta movies) and that his grandmama was his stability point. So now he is here is singapore, representign the US army. Aint it cool! darn inspirational!

Minglong's birthdya is next sunday and we are all going for his bday celebration! damm talking abt his bday party, this means its exams eve. and i haven started at all. Arghhh!! why did tiem fly so fast this semester? and know what, this semester all my papers are on alternate days. Which leaves me with like 1 day to chiong one subject. Save me.

Today is Good Friday which means i got to do some fasting and go to church. And the usual practice of the church is that we got to go up to the statue of Jesus's crucifiction and kiss it. and since i am sick, i cant give a quick peck or the whole congregation would probably get flu by the end of the day.

i was watchign the news report on tv, and in phillipines, they actual had real crucifiction! they nailed people to cross! and of cuz, this is not approved by the Catholic Church.

My comp is infected with virus cuz alex downloaded somethign off his friends. and now i am desperately trying to get a virus prog (cuz apparently mine dosent work) and screw that bloody virus!!!!!!! *grrr*
